Answer To Ab Rocket Workouts

From Look Younger Tips

Laura asks…

Hey does the ab rocket really target the abs and really works?

Hey I work out everyday and keeping my abs is no problem. I do normal home ab workouts and it don’t bother me like gives me pains or stuff like that, but I saw the ab rocket one day on tv and says it really works I was thinking of buying it but I want something that really targets my abs and want to know if ab rocket is worth what its worth not just a waste of money because in that case I would just stick to my normal workout

Gary answers:

Try this, it’s free: http://www.scribd.com/doc/6466200/Legendary-Abs

Maria asks…

What is the best ab workout tool?

Is it the ab lounge, the bowflex, crunches, the ab rocket? I have no idea?

Gary answers:

In my opinion, youll be fine with a pull up bar, just hang there and do straight leg raises, the old-fashioned full range of motion gives you a much better workout than any pricy device

when you get some really good core strength, you can keep your legs straight out in front of you while doing pull ups at the same time, youll be a beast!

Susan asks…

Should i get the ab rocket?

well.. im a 16 year old male (17 in april) and i was thinking if the ab rocket would be a good workout machine to get for me to lose weight.

i weigh 280, im 6 feet tall, and i need to lose 100-150 ponds hopeful. would the ab rocket be a good thing to help me lose the weight?

PLEASE ANSWER TRULY, AND ANSWER IF YOU ACTUALLY USED IT, AND KNOW IF ITS GOOD OR NOT FOR ME.

Gary answers:

Ab rocket is just a machine for you to ton up your abs, it can not help you to lose body fat or even to lose weight.

What you need to do is to go for a run, a jog or a swim every single day for at least 30 to 40 minutes. By doing such cardios, you will then lose weight in a very quick pace.

After you think you’ve lower down your body fat into your standard, then you can use the ab rocket to help you to get abs. But keep in mind that it is just a machine doing crunches or sit-ups kind of exercise, it can not really help you to lose weight.

Hope I helped here.

Gary answers:

Well the answer is no, because doing ab exercises will not make you lose weight. The only thing that will make you lose weight is doing cardio exercise and diet. About cardio you could do High Intensity Interval Trainign, which consists of the following

Running

3 minutes of warm up

2 minutes of running at 60% of max speed

1 minute running at 90% of max speed

Then repeat the cycle without the warm up for about 6 times

At the end cool down for 3 minutes by walking.

This way you will only do cardio for about 30 minutes and lose fat while mantaining muscle, scientifically proven.

And well about the ab rocket I dont think you really need to buy that kind of machine to get better abs, there are much better ways to get stronger abs by doing exercises such as reverse crunch, bycicle manouver and captain’s chair abs. If you need any help just msg me!

Betty asks…

I finally have enuf money to buy this product ive seen on tv known as the ab rocket. Now im going to 10th grade?

and very skinny, around 5’10ish and the only daily exercises i go through everyday is playing basketball with ma friends and lifting 10 pound iron dumb bells. I’m sick of my skininess and the way i look when my bone shows through my body everytime i take my clothes off .Now i read on the internet that the ab rocket has both positive and negative reviews. Experts say that the machine is more suitable for beginners and the resistance level will support your back, and i work long and hard for the 100$ i earned. So my question is : Is the ab rocket worth it? Does it break easily? Do you see results within weeks? and is it advised that i get it for the benefit of my body?

Gary answers:

Don’t waste your money on TV machines. Buy weights and do sit-ups or crunches. Get a book on weight training or something like that. You will get knowledge from that book or use from the weights thatg will last a lot longer than that TV machine.

I would like to know if the AB rocket trainer is effective in helping to lose belly fat?

I am not overweight but I want to shape lose some belly fat. So, as an aid to my program, I bought an AB rocket abdominal trainer. Whenever I do abdominal crunches, I always end up getting neck pain. This is the main reason I bought this piece of equipment. I am a small sized girl so the equipment fits me. I have already started using it and I really felt my abdominal working. However, according to reviews, this equipment may not be as effective as it claims to be. Thus, I would like to have your views on this equipment. Thank you.

Gary answers:

Stay away from soda’s

start off with 25 crunches a night and increase 25 a week! Until 100

Run! Run Run!!

Stay away from alot of bread and calories from fat!

Try 6 inches where you raise your feet off the ground while laying on your back! Place your hands by your tailbone! And hold for 30 secs!! Trust me you will hate me now but really hate me in the morning!!

Source(s):

but you’ll enjoy the results in the later weeks!!

Sandra asks…

Should I buy AB Rocket? does it help?

what are your reviews if you’ve used it???

Thomas asks…

argan oil acne scars?

i have acne scars that my dermatologist said would “eventually” fade, so i have to wait until july for my next appointment until i get some advice on what to use on them

but i watched some people on youtube rave over argan oil and that it fades acne scars, anyone use it on their acne scars? how did it work?

Gary answers:

These products are best for acne scars:

Mark asks…

where I can find argan oil in melbourne and is it really worth for acne and dry hair?

Gary answers:

I have found some good tips in following link, It may be good for you too

http://www.beautifulhamesha.com/

Donna asks…

Argan oil and Maracuja oil?

What are the notable differences between the oils? And are the oils likely to break me out? (I have sensitive, acne-prone, combinaton-mostly dry skin) And what are both of the oils supposed to do for my skin?

Gary answers:

Maracuja oil (or passion flower oil) is cold pressed in a special process from passion flowers; it comes from the Amzon where people there have been relying on its beneficial properties for hundreds of years. It’s extremely rich in vitamin C and essential fatty acids to nourish your skin, and it’s easily absorbed. The fatty acids in the oil are also beneficial to hair as well. Maracuja oil replenishes skin, has anti-aging benefits, and restores damaged hair. It also has additional relaxing properties, making it great for bath products. It shouldn’t make you break out since it does have a lighter consistency that easily absorbed; instead it should help your skin become moisturized, radiant and glowing.

Argan oil is derived from the fruit of the Argan tree, native to Morocco, where it has also been used for hundreds of years by the locals. It’s chock full of vitamin E and carotenes, along with essential fatty acids. It’s also rich in squalene, which is thought to protect skin from free radical damage that causes skin cancer. Argan oil has anti-aging benefits, restores damaged hair, and is also useful in treating acne.

Each oil has similar benefits and the pure oil is priced about the same; Josie Maran sells pure argan oil at $48 for 1.7 oz., while Tarte sells pure maracuja oil at $46 for the same size. Tarte is also formulating products with maracoja oil now. Don’t be afraid to use, whichever oil you decide to buy, on your body as well. Since these oils, if you buy pure (especially organic), are completely chemical-free, they tend to be like a soft rose petal touch to the skin, making it nourished, smooth, and rejuvenated. The scents are also lovely and come in very pleasantly early in the morning after a shower. The oils are not likely to break you out, you’ll more likely break out from stress, combined with not washing your face before bed and not staying properly hydrated while eating junk foods and no vegetables and fruits. Oils never make me break out and I have a dry skin with a shiny T-zone.

Whatever you decide on, with a simple routine of not overloading your face with makeup; washing your face with a pH neutro soap (its best but if can’t use it, then a simple soap like Nivea oatmeal will do) every morning and night; drinking plenty of water, along with a good diet and exercise; you can expect your skin to be radiant, break-out free and always ready for pictures.

Peace.

Richard asks…

What oil should i use for face and hair?

I have really dry skin and my hair is pretty much healthy but i want to make it healthier. Tea Tree oil, Vitamin E oil, coconut oil, argan oil, Jojaba oil, bio oil, olive oil, emu oil, avacado oil, or almond oil.

I want one you can get from walmart or target perferibly but i can go to saphora. My skin is dry and i have bad acne. Ive been using olive oil and it doesnt seem to be working. i use a lot of it at night then i use a couple drops in the morning. how long does it take to work? i want one that will work fast and wont be too expensive to keep using.

All these oils will not clog pores. don’t answer if you don’t know what your talking about

Gary answers:

I would recommend that you use Jojoba Oil,

Jojoba Oil should be perfect for you as penetrates into the skin and does not clog pores. It can be used on all skin types, it contains vitamin E and antioxidants which are great for fighting aging signs and moisturizing the skin. It is also antibacterial making it great for treating acne breakouts.

Using Tea Tree Essential oil will help with the acne as it has antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. Simply put a couple of drops on a cotton bud and dot onto each spot. Don’t use it over your entire face as it can irritate the skin for some people.

Lavender Essential oil has well known antifungal and antiseptic properties and is widely used in treating acne. For that stubborn pimples lavender can be applied neat using a cotton bud or pad. Redness, swelling and irritation will be dramatically reduced. Though better used in dilution for larger areas, I would recommend between 10-20 drops of essential oil to 50ml of carrier oil such as sweet almond or jojoba oil.

Hope this helps!

Gary answers:

I bought one 2 years ago and I still use it. It is like any other tool, it is only going to work if you use it.

Paul asks…

Is the ab rocket / or similar type equipment the best way to get a flat firm stomach ?

I know diet and excercise including crunches and pilates are good but they are hard on the back to do alot the pressure etc. Please let me know the best equipment and or excercise diet routine. I am doing a couple of miles of jogging a day and 120 push ups a day to start. The ab rocket was 90 dollars canadian.

Gary answers:

You can get the same results without a machine.

Lay on a soft surface, like carpet or a work-out mat. Use as many different types of crunches as you can, like 20 straight, then 20 alternating your elbow to the opposite knee, then stretch out and lift your legs about 6″ and drop them 20 times, then lift your legs bent so your feet are still in line with the ground and reach for your heels, etc. Etc.

Sandy asks…

Why does my AB Rocket keep lifting off the grund when i lean backwards?

My Ab rocket lifts off the ground when I lean back ?

Gary answers:

That is probably a question for the manufacturers but logic tells me that your weight isn’t balancing well with that piece of equipments weight.

Ruth asks…

What is your review of “the ab rocket”?

were u successful in losing weight? how much did u lose?

Gary answers:

There are ~50 reviews at this site for the ab rocket

http://www.buzzillions.com/ab+rocket

Most like it, but don’t love it. The major complaint was that the resistance was weak…so it might not be right for you if you are larger

doesn’t sound like a weight loss tool…just a strengthener

Nancy asks…

Any review on Ab Rocket?

seeking opion on this product.

Gary answers:

It’s okay. But I just prefer the good ol’ crunches and sit-ups… Idk, just my opinion.

David asks…

Should I get the ab rocket?

if u have an reviews on it or any other product to help me get a six pack that is under 100$ please tell me. give review or results on the ab rocket or a product u recommendd

Gary answers:

You are wasting your time. None of these work. You need a whole body resistance exercise regime to tone your tummy or get six pack abs. If it was that easy, everyone would be walking around with 6 packs. The fat needs to come off like the layers of an onion. It needs to come off one layer at a time. You cannot force your body to burn the fat in your belly.

Ab Rocket, Ab Lounge or Tony Horton’s 10 min. trainer?

Ab Rocket, Ab Lounge or Tony Horton’s 10 min. trainer…These are 3 exercising equipments I’m interested in but I want to get the right one for me and would love to know which one can give me better and faster results…? I have read good and bad reviews specially about the Ab Rocket because that’s the one I’m the most interested in. So I would love to hear from people that DO HAVE EITHER ONE OF THESE OR HAD THEM. I don’t want to loose weight and I don’t think I need to loose weight, I just want to get my abs nice and firm again and loose the little pouch. I had two baby’s so that’s what I’m talking about. I weight 105 at the moment. I really want to get my abs firm and tone and sit down and not have to worry about that lil pouch that forms. Will really appreciate all the help and answers.

Thanks…

Gary answers:

Tony horton rocks. You can really work on every part of your body, instead just on one parts i.e. Abs.
