Answer To Ab Rocket Workouts

From Look Younger Tips

Laura asks…

Hey does the ab rocket really target the abs and really works?

Hey I work out everyday and keeping my abs is no problem. I do normal home ab workouts and it don’t bother me like gives me pains or stuff like that, but I saw the ab rocket one day on tv and says it really works I was thinking of buying it but I want something that really targets my abs and want to know if ab rocket is worth what its worth not just a waste of money because in that case I would just stick to my normal workout

Gary answers:

Try this, it’s free: http://www.scribd.com/doc/6466200/Legendary-Abs

Maria asks…

What is the best ab workout tool?

Is it the ab lounge, the bowflex, crunches, the ab rocket? I have no idea?

Gary answers:

In my opinion, youll be fine with a pull up bar, just hang there and do straight leg raises, the old-fashioned full range of motion gives you a much better workout than any pricy device

when you get some really good core strength, you can keep your legs straight out in front of you while doing pull ups at the same time, youll be a beast!

Susan asks…

Should i get the ab rocket?

well.. im a 16 year old male (17 in april) and i was thinking if the ab rocket would be a good workout machine to get for me to lose weight.

i weigh 280, im 6 feet tall, and i need to lose 100-150 ponds hopeful. would the ab rocket be a good thing to help me lose the weight?

PLEASE ANSWER TRULY, AND ANSWER IF YOU ACTUALLY USED IT, AND KNOW IF ITS GOOD OR NOT FOR ME.

Gary answers:

Ab rocket is just a machine for you to ton up your abs, it can not help you to lose body fat or even to lose weight.

What you need to do is to go for a run, a jog or a swim every single day for at least 30 to 40 minutes. By doing such cardios, you will then lose weight in a very quick pace.

After you think you’ve lower down your body fat into your standard, then you can use the ab rocket to help you to get abs. But keep in mind that it is just a machine doing crunches or sit-ups kind of exercise, it can not really help you to lose weight.

Hope I helped here.

Gary answers:

Well the answer is no, because doing ab exercises will not make you lose weight. The only thing that will make you lose weight is doing cardio exercise and diet. About cardio you could do High Intensity Interval Trainign, which consists of the following

Running

3 minutes of warm up

2 minutes of running at 60% of max speed

1 minute running at 90% of max speed

Then repeat the cycle without the warm up for about 6 times

At the end cool down for 3 minutes by walking.

This way you will only do cardio for about 30 minutes and lose fat while mantaining muscle, scientifically proven.

And well about the ab rocket I dont think you really need to buy that kind of machine to get better abs, there are much better ways to get stronger abs by doing exercises such as reverse crunch, bycicle manouver and captain’s chair abs. If you need any help just msg me!

Answer To Ab Rocket Twister

From Look Younger Tips

James asks…

what are your thoughts on the ab rocket twister?

i was thinking about maybe purchasing the ab rocket twister. but is it really as effective as it claims to be? have you ever used/purchased one? i’m dying to lose weight. and i guess my biggest problem is self control. if you dont like the ab rocket twister or never used it.. do you have any other suggestions? (i.e. diets, workouts, etc.) anything that will help me get fast results? i get discouraged easily if i dont really see any results.

Gary answers:

Any machine sold on tv for 19.99 or something like that, dont work, or are barely effective. The only machines what really work are the ones at the gym.

The best thing for abs are crunches, for top abs and hanging leg raises for lower abs.

If your trying to lose wieght, abdominal workouts arent really that effective. Diet and cardio are the best. Cardio is like running.

Helen asks…

Is ab rocket twister worth buying to reduce waist line and to tighten stomach muscles?

I am 27 Years Male weighing 133 Pounds with 33 waist line. I want to reduce my waist line from 3 to 4 inches and weight from 6 to 8 pounds. I have already started doing cardio exercises like jogging and swimming. I am looking for a device which can be foldable as I travel frequently. Is Ab Rocket Twister worth Buying? Please advice if there is another device suitable for my needs. Thank you.

My Height is 5′ 5″

I want to tighten my stomach muscles which is very difficult with normal exercises. That is why, I want to try any of those devices in the market but I am not sure which one is more effective among the lot. As I travel frequently, the device should be foldable to carry. The persons who has good idea about these devices can give me a better answer.

Gary answers:

Hi there Mohan,

I don’t think it would be worth your while to get that contraption. Not many of those things work to their ‘supposed’ claims where most of the models on those programs never used the contraption to get to the state that you see them on the infomercial using the product. As indicated already, if you’re gonna buy anything, free weights would be a good addition.

Also, in regards to buying stuff, your best bet is what you do and don’t purchase to fill your pantry/fridge. Quality over quantity works wonders in this realm. Our consumerist nation has many false claims so be wary of many top brands that claim a healthy product. Most times there are items in the product that have been shown to be healthy, but a lot of what else is in the same product is not as healthful.

One thing you did forget to put in your description was your height. A 133 lb male at 6 feet would be considered underweight. Therefore, it is tough to make any drastic recommendations without this important information.

Regardless of this, there is one free website I’d recommend. It is the Mercola.com website which is a site from Dr. Joseph Mercola. He has another site that can help get a program going to help manage good foods to eat and to keep track of your goals. This is the Nutritional Typing website: http://nutritionaltyping.mercola.com/Login.aspx.

Also, if you ever had questions concerning overall health, the Weston A. Price Foundation is a great source. Here is a good starting point, an article by the name of “Healthy 4 Life”: http://www.westonaprice.org/healthy4life.html. Unlike the highly flawed USDA Food Pyramid, this free guide points out the healthier versions of foods and of course what should be avoided: http://www.westonaprice.org/images/pdfs/healthy4life2011.pdf.

I’ll include some additional links below for you to peruse on your time.

My best wishes to you in your journey to be healthy and live healthily. May you be encouraged in this important process as well as find the encouragement to keep it up.

Blessings,

Trevor

Sandy asks…

Does the Ab Rocket Twister work?

I saw the commercial for it and kind of want to try it, but i dont want to waste money. Has anybody tried it? If so, how was it? I need reviews, thanks!

Gary answers:

It almost certainly works, but only if you keep using it, and put the effort into using it correctly.

Like all pieces of exercise equipment, it won’t do anything if it’s left to gather dust, you’ll only improve your body if you do the work.

Spending cash on something isn’t a guarantee that that you’ll use it, so it’s up to you.

Carol asks…

does the ab rocket twister works?

Gary answers:

It works to a certain extent, but not like the advertisements say it does.
